The Democratic Republic of Congo has been at war since ‘96. On the eastern borders of the country lies the Virunga National Park, the most ancient and important African park. Inside it, the conservation of nature is a priority, and in order to preserve it, the rangers burn down villages, and rape and kill inhabitants.

AFEA is a project headed by Agostino and Antonio Spanò, Edoardo and Francesco Picciolo, producers and directors. They founded Office Number Four Production, an independent and self-financed production house, through which they give space to current stories denouncing social injustice. ‘Animal Park’ is their first work. They live and work between Paris, Milan and Siena.
