The Agricultural Support Communities (CSA) are born as a response to the growing industrialization of the agricultural sector and the need to promote sustainable models. Starting in the 1960s in Japan and the 1980s in Europe and North America, these communities introduced a system where members commit themselves in advance to support farmers.
Arvaia, located in the Bologna area, is now the largest CSA in Italy.
Through the stories of those who, every day, contribute to realize this project, the documentary explores not only the daily dynamics of the cooperative, but also the ideal of social transformation that animates it.
