Bahçeler Put Kesildi (Gardens Petrified)
After his father’s death, Yusuf goes to his village, which he has not been to for years, and learns that a geothermal company wants to buy his father’s agricultural lands and drill a well. He wants to solve problems without disrespecting his father’s memory, but things don’t go as he hoped and he has to make some tough decisions.

Ali Cabbar was born in 1988, Manisa (Turkey). He graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Dramatic Writing in 2013 and subsequently worked as a screenwriter. He shot his first short film, Madun in 2019; that same year, his first novel Şüphe (Doubt) was published in Storytel Original. In 2021, with the support of the E.U. Think Civil Program, he shot his latest short film Bahçeler Put Kesildi (Gardens Petrified). He is currently working on the pre-production of his first feature movie Tohum (Seed).
