James Casey is a New York based filmmaker, born and raised in British Hong Kong. He began his career as writer and editor of magazines and books, before directing his first narrative short El Afilador which premiered in 2018. He is currently working on a forthcoming feature—an absurd dark comedy set in rural Pennsylvania.
