Once upon a time, there was an old fisherman who every morning would get ready to go and fish in the same pond. He would sit and wait for hours on end… and every day he would catch the same fish. A little fable to reflect on solitude and old age.

Giovanni Maccelli was born in 1977 in Prato. He graduated in Theory and Technique of the Cinematographic Language at the University of Florence, and graduated in Cinema Directing at the Immagina School of Florence. He now heads his own production house, which makes fictional and animated short films.
