Kampung Tapir
The struggles of making a living and searching for a better life plagues Anne, leaving her in a dilemma on where she should settle down with her family. This is a film about Malaysian transborder workers in Singapore and their forgotten home, Kampung Tapir. The Malaysian tapir dies among the straight lines that have thrown out the village and the woods like a useless idea.

See Wee Aw is a Malaysian director. During his studies at the Taiwanese film school, despite his teachers pushing them to film in Malaysia, he and his companions had the purpose to live and work in Singapore. Kampung Tapir instead led him to work in his native land, giving him the opportunity to present the unique architectural landscape, the old bus stops, briefly, everything that represents his homeland.
