Erin McDermott is currently a BFA3 Character Animation student at CalArts. She has worked with CalArts for the past 3 years as a teaching assistant during the Animation Residency. Erin loves spooky, witty, and charming things. Her favorite films include Nightmare Before Christmas, James and The Giant Peach, Mary and Max, and Coraline. She currently resides in Irvine, CA, however her heart will always remain in North Carolina- where her family is. Erin lives with one very fluffy old cat, one rambunctious puppy, and a sharp-witted boyfriend of 12 years that works at Blizzard Entertainment. They all moved from North Carolina to Southern California in 2015 to chase their dreams (and their tail)!
