Naeris (The Turnip)
The film’s story is based on the Slavic folktale, which has been told for ages from the peasants point of view. The film shows the story from underground angle – giving an overview on what really happened while peasants were engaged in the cultivation of vegetables. Discussing about property, collaboration and betrayal.

PIRET SIGUS. Born in 1976, Piret Sigus is an independent animation artist and director. She graduated from the Academia Grata department of the Estonian Academy of Arts in 2004. She has been working in Nukufilm studio and she’s a founder and owner of cut-out animation studio Animailm.
SILJA SAAREPUU. Silja Saarepuu is an artist and filmmaker born in 1973. She graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts in 2004. She’s a freelance artist who works in the field of interdisciplinary arts creating and using stories of little people living on Earth and rolling stones on fields of different realities.
