The director’s grandfather told him a story which he had made up and asked him to turn it into a film: because of pollution, pesticides and other toxic substances, a bee decides to leave his hive in search of a safer place to live.

Marcel Barelli was born in 1985 in Lodrino, in the Ticino Canton. He studied cinema in Geneva at the HEAD (Haute École d’Art et de Design). He has produced various animated short films.
