Five peasant voices, five life choices. They each tell their stories and speak of their everyday lives, against a backdrop of a displaced rural environment, one perhaps re-found in the province of Varese, despite it being all too often light years away from these themes.

Marco Tessaro graduated in Political Science. Since 2000, he has undertaken freelance collaborations with parks, natural conservation associations and other territorial subjects on projects of analysis and environmental communication. He deals mainly with the creation of video documentaries, privileging themes of ecology and the local territory, the safeguarding of biodiversity, the landscape, degrowth and local memories, also from a historical point of view.
