In a remote village from Romania, located close to the Danube, an “important” event is going to happen. The first man to swim across the Danube from its spring to the Black Sea will stop and visit the village. Thinking that this kind of events can help his community leaving obscurity, the mayor does all he can to impress the swimmer. But eventually, the real problems of the community come to light.
