Pastora Sogna
In an alpine pasture in Lecco’s Valsassina region, the female presence and hand dominate a small but complex production system that revolves around the fertile fruit that belongs to the cow. This system is observed through the eyes of Ela, a young border collie who experiences long waits and short zealous spurts among the pastures that will favor her a caress, a sip of milk… and a restorative, itinerant sleep among visions and distorted presences.

Director
Francesco Bogliani was born and raised among the Paddy fields of Pavia. Having completed his studies in architecture and numerous trips between Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, he then began a career in film set design, working for almost ten years in major Italian productions. Today he lives in Turin and teaches Audiovisual Disciplines. Strong ties to rural contexts characterize the authorial work he continues to pursue.
