2023 Edition
Since its first edition, all Corto e Fieno’s screening is free of charge. Everybody can help us supporting the festival through contribution or buying a bag, a gadget or a poster.
Every movie is in original language subtitled in Italian and, if written, in English (Eng Sub).
The artist Paolo Metaldi realized the poser for the 2023 edition.
Ho sempre sentito il mondo rurale come molto vicino a me.

Awarded Films
Moving between dream and memory, the director poetically renders the powerful protagonist at the center of the film, taking the viewer back to a time long gone.
“Varken (Pig)” by Jorn Leeuwerink
For rendering the consequences of exploitation of the planet, through a non-trivial metaphor and striking use of characters/animals and using caustic irony and complex storytelling, the film shows man’s persistence in pursuing bad choices.
“Sorta Nostra” by Michele Sammarco
A tale that starts from a personal story to open a glimpse into a world that could die if not cared for with love.
Unexpected choice of the counter-field in the dialogue scenes, helping to create a poetic and evocative montage.
Terra e polvere (Yin Ru Chen Yan) di Li Ruijun
Innesti by Sandro Bozzolo
A powerful story, everything that Asilo Bianco has been trying to do on the ground for 18 years is here: a family that is the community and sustains the lifeblood that makes people feel good, with the daily commitment and effort of being together.
For painting an unexpected and ironic relationship, showing how the (cumbersome) presence of an animal, can change a person’s life.
Tufo by Victoria Musci
For the civic value of a courageous project that tells the story of a man who is an example of integrity and resistance against the Mafia.
