Bionde naturali
The blond onion of Cureggio and Fontaneto is the only Slow Food product in the province of Novara. Considered a variety at risk of extinction, in 2013 a small group of producers rediscovered this crop and annually takes care of its production cycle. The harvest at the end of July, drying out in the sun, the storing of the seed and its cooking. An itinerary from the earth to the plate, recounting the life of these natural blonds.
ATL Novara has supported Corto e Fieno for years, and this year it would like to offer its own contribution by focusing attention on the blond onion of Cureggio and Fontaneto. Francesco Lillo from Asilo Bianco has directed and shot this first film dedicated to a special blond… both good-looking and tasty.
