A cow looks at herself in the mirror, a giant pig rests in a puddle of mud, a rabbit foot hung up like a talisman, a pheasant announcing the arrival of the foreigner with his call. On this farm full of animals, the threat of death is close to hand. But in its place, a rite of blessing takes place, thus celebrating the drama and beauty of life.

Cosimo Terlizzi was born in 1973 in Bitonto. He followed an artistic study career in Bologna, developing his work through the use of various media, from photography to performance, to video art. His works have been put on show in museums and galleries throughout Europe. He lives and works at La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland.
