Papa/Valle
Telling memory after a traumatic event. The Corona virus was a difficult period for many. The protagonist of the documentary tells how after more than ninety days of ordeal his life changed. With physical damage and obvious speech impairment, the valley will become a memory carrier. The past, the memories thus become a path of rediscovery and sign. The Valle dei Segni (Valley of Signs) recounted from a non ordinary reportage, with a particular point of view, rediscovering a path between the valley and Saviore dell’Adamello.
*The film was made as part of the project RESIDENZE IN VIDEO | SEGNINCORTO – Valle Camonica / Patrimonio e Paesaggio competition organised together with the friends of the Comunità Montana di Valle Camonica, managing body of the Cultural District and coordinating body of the UNESCO site and MAB area, and those of the Borgo degli artisti di Bienno (BS). The project is dedicated to the memory of Pierfausto Bettoni, the inspirer and indefatigable animator of the Borgo degli Artisti, who wanted to bring Corto e Fieno to Valle Camonica with conviction and enthusiasm.
