In 1950s Capalbio, Italy, poor families have no chance of changing their lives for the better, except for the strange case of the hammering. In one household, a scale continuously falls from its place on the wall and, all of a sudden, a woman appears and moves around. Who is this mysterious woman? What is hidden in this wall?
