Il lago

On the shore of a lake, a man and a woman together come to terms with the autumn of their years. They embody the encounter of two cultures and a love which has stood the test of time, in search of a profound sense to life and death, from the notes of a song to the lines of a poem. Theirs is an intimate journey through the family of the directors, who for three years followed Yukai’s parents, telling of their love story, over 40 years long, and of an Italo-Japanese couple who decided to grow old together, immersed in nature.
