Tau Seru

In the vastness of the Himalayas, a nomadic shepherd and his son live together with their sheep. They spend their days on the pastures at almost 5,000 metres above sea level. But even in such boundless spaces, one may feel hemmed in, and the curiosity for what lies ‘beyond’ may prove too strong.

Rodd Rathjen was born and bred in Colbinabbin, a small country village in the state of Victoria, Australia. In 2010 he graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in School of Film & Television. ‘Tau Seru’ was selected and presented as a world preview during the Critics’ Week of the Cannes Film Festival.
