As always, a new year has begun and submissions are now open. We are looking for rural films and short films for the 13th edition of Corto e Fieno – Rural Film Festival.

The Festival will be held in October: on Friday 7th, Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th, in Lake Orta, Italy.

The idea of Corto e Fieno is to draw attention to rural culture, both in Italy and in other parts of the world. All selected short films will be screened during the Festival in the section “Frutteto” (Orchard – International Short Film Competition) and “Germogli” (Buds – International Animated Short Film Competition).

Call for entries can be downloaded from the section “How to participate”. All submitted works must be a maximum length of 30 minutes. Films both edited and unedited will be accepted, provided that they were completed after 1st January 2020. The films must be received by Sunday 15th May 2022.
