Le chant du cygne
Francis has been a shepherd in Soulas on the pastures of the Upper Pyrenees for more than 30 years. Now he is tired, and decides to retire and leave his mountains and flock of sheep to the young shepherdess Marion, who wants to take his place on the mountainside. In July, after only one month of summer pasturage, Marion accidentally falls into a ravine and dies. Hence, Francis is forced to return to the mountain to finish the season.
